Ok, so is the Dynasonic the most sensitive snare ever built due to the frame and incredibly shallow snare bed? Are they worth the money?

Probably the Dynasonic or Premier Royal Ace or 2000 are equally sensitive – but the trouble is the rarity of spare parts. These drums were developed (I think) to make sympathetic snare buzz more finely controllable at a time when other instruments were often saxes and brass and band volumes quite low. They also are great for rolls and complex sticking none of which gets played much now. They cease to have much relevance at high volumes or when drums are hit hard.
