Am i being realistic? My band use the singer’s desk – an Allen & Heath PA12-CP 8 channel 2x500w.
I have a gigrac 1000st which i use for the occasional small acoustic type gig or dj bit elsewhere. We use it as a back up for the band but it’s never been needed. I’m thinking about moving it on and getting a powered desk which is just as good if not better for under £350. Needs to be transportable and a similar size to the allen and heath. Is it possible to get a powered desk with maybe a couple more channels on for this price range without breaking my back or trying to reconfigure how i load my car?
