For an American customer and friend, alongside my one of similar size. The Perspex shell has had its bearing edges cut and a chunk of tedious polishing, and is now as shiny and smooth as a very shiny and smooth thing, the bearing edges feel genuinely Low friction!

The drum will have similar solid brass lugs and a Trick strainer.

Looks very promising Marcus. Did you machine those brass lugs yourself? Do they have the thread for the rod directly drilled and tapped into the brass or is there a steel insert?

Cheers, yup I make the lugs, solid brass, no inserts, work fine! Decided to start work on a 2nd while I’m at it!
